This masterclass is designed for returning figurative sculpture students and experienced sculptors wanting to breathe further life and expression into a figure in motion or ‘contra-posto’. Using our DEC™ methodology and extended anatomical knowledge introduced during the workshop, you will use your newly acquired skills, dexterity and refinement to create a beautifully proportioned figure.

This workshop will start by revising your anatomy and physiology knowledge, and then take it further. Using design and DEC™ and one to one coaching you will learn how to add a feeling of zest and movement into the figure’s pose. Revision and practice in your ‘painting in clay’ techniques will be honed to gain the refinement that will take your work to the next level.
