ONLINE COURSES & VIDEOS

When you purchase one of our videos for on-demand viewing we will make it available to you to stream. You may stream purchased videos online through your web browser, smart phone and compatible internet-connected TVs, Blu-ray players, set-top-boxes, tablets and other compatible devices.

You may stream the same video to no more than one device at a time.

The viewing period for a purchased streaming video is indefinite. You may watch and re- watch your purchased videos as often as you want and as long as you want.

Any video or content viewed through our service is for your personal use and may not be shared with individuals beyond your household.

Videos are for non-commercial use only and are not for use for public performances.

By streaming our videos, you agree not to archive, reproduce, distribute, modify, display, perform, publish, license, create derivative works from, offer for sale, or use content and information contained on or obtained from our service. We reserve the right to terminate or restrict your use of our service, or purchased videos, if you violate these Terms of Use.

Please beware, due to the nature of subject matter, many of our online courses and resources videos contain full frontal nudity. We cannot accept responsibility for any offense taken.

ON-SITE COURSES

Terms
By booking on any of our courses you agree to abide by our terms and conditions.

What’s included:
EVERYTHING is included: all your materials, armatures, clay, a course manual & CD, working with a life model on Day 1 (Figurative, Portrait & SFX). Refreshments are plentiful and a daily light lunch is provided by local caterers. We are unable to tailor our catering for special dietary requirements.

We reserve the right to make amendments to course content without notice.

What’s not included:
Prices do not include accommodation. Please refer to our list of accommodation for details and prices.

Application requirements:
You must be 18 years or over to attend any course.

Health & Safety:
All participants should wear shoes with flat, non-slip soles and covered toes, preferably leather. We recommend wearing sensible, warm clothing ie. not your best outfit – we are not liable for any damage that occurs to clothing.

Certificated Courses:
All our courses offer a Sculpture School certificate upon successful completion of a course. Certificates are issued at the discretion of the Tutors. Please note, to maintain the value of our course certificates, students that have a partial attendance record will find that reflected on their course certificate.

Payment:
Two, Four and Five Day Sculpture Courses: All payments should be made in full at the time of booking. We do not take provisional bookings and cannot confirm your place on a course until we receive full payment.

Your Conduct:
If the School considers that you have behaved in an unacceptable manner, the School will be entitled to exclude you from any course you are currently enrolled on or booked in the future. If the School is unable to reallocate your place, no refund of fees will be made.

Liability:
The School will not accept responsibility for the loss of any personal possessions.
The School will not be liable for any loss suffered by you which is indirect, special or consequential.
The School will not be liable for any loss suffered by you resulting from any event which is beyond the reasonable control of the School.

General:
The acknowledgement or processing of an order or quote does not constitute legal acceptance of your order or quote. An order or quote is deemed accepted only upon receipt of full payment for the total value of the order. The order confirmation contains all of the contractual terms agreed between you, the invoice addressee and the School.

No failure or delay by the School in enforcing any of its rights under the Contract shall be deemed to be a waiver of such right.

The Contract shall be governed by English law.

Copyright & Acceptable Usage:
Full copyright of course content developed by The Sculpture School is retained by The Sculpture School. Course notes and reference materials are provided to support students in their studies and ongoing sculpture development and is issued for personal use only.

A lot of work has gone into the development of our course content and it has commercial value. The sharing of course materials by print, press, photocopy, email, blogs, internet or any digital transfer medium is strictly prohibited without the express written permission of The Sculpture School directors. If in doubt, please ask about what is and isn’t acceptable usage.
